The OnePlus brand is a simple, yet functional fitness tracker. Unlike many other devices on the market, it doesn’t rely on an app for data; instead, it uses color-coded LEDs to show you how close you are to your daily step goal. At night, it’s an asleep tracker as well. If you don’t mind wearing something that looks like an inexpensive prototype from a Kickstarter campaign then feel free to buy one and give it a try! One small downside is that because of its limited functionality, software updates aren’t available for it. However, if you have a compatible device running Android 5.0 or later (check here), I recommend checking out the Mi Fit app instead and using Mi Band 2 alongside it. The OnePlus band can be used as a pulse oximeter, meaning you can monitor your blood oxygen levels through your fingertips. This is extremely useful for those who want to know their oxygen saturation level at all times without having to carry around bulky equipment. This feature has been tested by doctors and is currently only available on two other bands on the market: Apple Watch Series 4 and Garmin Fenix 5 Plus series.

The band of other fitness trackers usually won’t stand up to long-term use. You don’t want to spend all that money on a high-end gadget, only to have it fall apart in two months. The OnePlus bands aren’t as flexible as a standard silicone wristband, but they are definitely less rigid than Fitbit products. I would say they compare most closely with Jawbone’s rubber straps—but at half of Jawbone's cost.

With continuous heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking, you will know if a good night’s rest is within reach or if some extra sleep may need to be scheduled into your day.

A one-plus band is a great option for tracking your exercise. While it does not track all-day heart rate like some other smartwatches, it does provide valuable insight into your heart rate as you exercise. It can also be used as a way to measure your intensity and workout duration by displaying live stats during workouts (e.g., distance, speed, pace, steps per minute). Afterward, you can review how each workout unfolded over time with graphs in the companion app on your phone or tablet; those visual representations are helpful for keeping tabs on progress over time.
Pros & Cons
The OnePlus Smart band is a solid device for anyone looking to keep track of their activity and heart rate. The app has most of what you need and will give you a good insight into your daily activities. The vibration motor is pretty good, so it’s easy to notice when notifications come in on your phone while you’re wearing it. However, it’s important to note that other bands like those from Xiaomi are far more feature-rich.
